knitted baby photo props

My mom, the mother of seven, taught me to knit, crochet and sew when I was young.

I married and had four children. After ten years home raising children, I thought I need a part time job. That job turned in to a career of twenty years.

My oldest two daughters were in college and youngest, twins were graduating high school. Our son had a Dr. appt. and that day I received that dreaded phone call at work from our family dr. "it's not good" "cancer".

The following year of daily Chemo than surgery. I was blessed to work for a great company and job flexibility keep me going. And lots of knitting.

After a few years the cancer returned Second time. More surgery. More knitting.

My husband had his first heart attack. I knew something had to change.

The third time his cancer returned, and our first-born granddaughter needed open heart surgery at 5 days old. I choose to leave the corporate job and all the benefits.

I keep knitting and loved doing season craft shows with my mom.

My oldest daughter is a newborn photographer and came to me and asked if I could make here a cocoon bowl. I had tubs and tubs of the type of yarn she wanted because I used the same yarn for scarves and ponchos I make! Perfect!

She also mention Etsy to me and 2007 I opened my Esty shop!

I love to knit, retired with my husband and try to keep up with ten active grandchildren! - 2018
